I am a PhD candidate in Cognitive Science at UC San Diego. I have both a BA in psychology and mathematics. I also interned at NASA Langley Research Center and Jet Propulsion Laboratory using human biological signals in novel ways, with a scope towards adaptive manned flight systems. My most recent project involved neuroergonomic multimodal neuroimaging during an aviation pursuit task with Daniel Callan at the Center for Information and Neural Networks in Osaka, JA, funded by the NSF East Asian and Pacific Southern Island fellowship. My other academic interests include autism, empathy, embodied cognition, neural oscillations, and multimodal brain/body imaging. My personal interests include contemporary dance, ballet, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Judo, and singing/songwriting.
